The Point of Penmarc'h

With its 60 meters in height and its 307 stairs, the view of the Point of Penmarc'h from the Eckmuhl lighthouse is breathtaking.

The visit of the lighthouse is also very impressive. The walls of the lighthouse were made with granite stone from Kersanton and the inside of the stairs is covered in opaline rock. Completed in 1897, it is today one of the most visited monuments in the Finistere, and one of the most powerful lighthouses in France.
